Amelia Twiss
Approach
If you’re a senior leader juggling the demands of your career and its impact on your wellbeing and personal life, Amelia can help. She specialises in workplace mental health, particularly in managing stress, burnout, and work-related psychological challenges. Amelia helps you build resilience, improve work-life balance, and develop strategies for managing personal and workplace challenges. Her approach integrates cognitive behavioural therapy (thoughts lead to emotions), emotion focused therapy (emotions lead to thoughts), and coaching psychology (goals lead to outcomes) to foster personal growth and lasting change. The six pillars of lifestyle medicine; nutrition, physical activity, restorative sleep, stress management, avoidance of risky substances, and social connection, provide the foundations of her work with you.
Experience
Amelia has over 14 years’ experience in organisational consulting, coaching psychology, and supporting people through work-related challenges, anxiety, depression, interpersonal relationships and managing life changes. Having worked in the UK, France and Australia she is sensitive to individual differences and welcomes the opportunity to support people from diverse backgrounds. As a psychologist in organisational settings, she has supported hundreds of people through personal change. Her approach is client-centred, drawing from organisational psychology, coaching psychology, cognitive behavioural therapy and emotion focused therapy.
