Harry employs psychoanalytic theory and practice in his work with issues of self-esteem, relationship, life transitions, anxiety, depression, as well as existential & identity issues. His interpersonal and psychoanalytic approach tailored to the individual requirements of his clients.
Approach
My approach may be characterised according to the following principles:
- Respecting the individuality of each client and that they will have unique and particular needs.
- An individual’s difficulties can not be reduced to a generic diagnosis to be treated in a generic way
- Each client requires a treatment or intervention that is particular to their situation.
- Clients will be afforded the opportunity to give voice to their difficulty and be listened to deeply.
From therein, if deemed appropriate and suitable a treatment will be offered. The efficacy of such treatment will be reviewed as required.
