John Vilianiotis
John has previously worked as a Principal Consultant, a General Manager, as well as in private practice. John has worked with client organisations across all industries and sectors and travels nationally and internationally to deliver assignments and projects for a range of clients.
He brings substantial experience as a specialist consulting psychologist, working with senior executives and their teams across all industries, to increase organisational effectiveness through targeted interventions and programs including, the design, development and facilitation of mental health and wellbeing workshops and programs.
Approach:
John draws on a broad and diverse range of therapeutic approaches to tailor mental health assessments and counselling according to the individuals needs and preferences including – CBT, Solutions Focussed Therapy and Schema Therapy. He also utilises evidenced based career and work related models, leadership theory and organisational psychology to support assessment and coaching of clients with respect to work and career related issues. John is accredited across a broad range of psychometric assessments including leadership assessments, cognitive ability assessments, career inventories, and personality profiles.
Experience:
John has worked in both private practice and in organisational and business contexts for the entirety of his career, offering him unique experience across mental health sectors as well as organisational psychology. He has experience delivering services for the benefit of individuals as well as for entire organisations. His experience includes individual counselling, EAP support, critical incident response and debriefing, design and delivery of workshops and training, leadership assessments and leadership development, career counselling and executive coaching. John has worked across all sectors and industries and has delivered services across Australia as well as overseas.
