As a therapist I am required to: • Keep information about you private; open a client file for notes and information about the content / progress of counseling. • Seek additional assistance for you; or, contact relevant authorities if I think there is a risk of you harming yourself or others. • Submit information / notes if subpoenaed by court. I may also: • Contact other workers that you have seen, like your doctor or another counsellor • Discuss your situation with a supervisor to prepare for your sessions
If you need to change or cancel an appointment please give us at least 24 hours notice. This allows us to offer your appointment to someone else. IMPORTANT: If you cancel with less than 24hrs notice or miss your appointment you will be charged the full consultation fee. For appointments scheduled on Saturday, Sunday or Monday – cancellations made by voicemail or email after Fri 6pm will incur the full consultation fee.
